OUTFIT OF THE DAY

Visiting town in this one, and since I was spending the day in BTs, I thought I should try to look a little sharp!

 ootd3 Jacket: Vintage
Scarf: Hermes
Sweater: Tommy Hilfiger
Jeans: Dunnes
Boots: UGG
Bag: Balenciaga

I really wanted to wear my salmon Karen Millen jacket with this to match the colours in the scarf, but it was just too damn cold! I’m so over this winter chill– can it be Spring now, please?

I’m definitely not over this scarf, though; I’ve had it for quite some time, but I haven’t actually worn it properly before this. I love the colours– there’s a nice balance of colour and neutrals, and I really love that pop of mint. It goes perfectly with this bag, which I’ve had forever, but don’t wear nearly as often as I should!

What items are you rediscovering in your closet this winter? Are you praying for Spring to come early? Or is Christmas all you can think about? Drop me a line and let me know!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY

Another OOTD, another elevator photo. I REALLY need to get my mirror situation sorted out, don’t I?

Leggings: M&S
Shirt: Primark
Boots: UGG
Shawl: Hermes
Bag: Prada

You know it’s winter when my list of items doubles in length, sigh. Breaking out my trusty red winter coat here– a sale purchase in Dunnes some years ago but which I still adore. It has a really cute cut and I haven’t seen too many like it. I usually pair it with my favourite Hermes felt and velvet hat because it has a red inner trim, which you can just see peeking out from behind my giant phone.

Fully unseen is the Primark thermal undershirt I’m wearing, and my god, does that save my bacon during the winter. When it’s just not possible to wear a turtleneck, this absolutely does the business, and they are cheap as chips. I can wholeheartedly recommend them!

Have you rediscovered your winter best? Do you love layering? What winter accessories are you rocking recently?  Drop me a line and let me know!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY

The good weather has definitely departed, and it’s time to bundle up warm. Alas, with the ongoing Ebola scare, I’m not in any hurry to embark on International air travel, so I’m stuck with Ireland’s terrible weather for the foreseeable future.

Shawl: Hermes
Polo: Dunnes
Jumper: Tommy Hilfiger
Bag: Hermes
Jeans: Armani
Shoes: Prada

I love these jeans, but because I’m short and they’re long, I only get to wear them when I’m wearing heels. These hidden wedge Prada sneakers were picked up in the BT sale this January, and I absolutely adore them. They’re not as comfortable as Uggs or even normal runners, but they’re infinitely more comfortable than any other heels you might want to try.

This bag is also a favourite: it’s stylish while also being practical– gotta love those cross-body straps! Hopefully I’ll get my mirror situation squared up soon, but until then, you’ll just have to make do with my terrible elevator photography.

Have you dug out your winter wear yet? Do you also struggle with too-long pants?  Are you rocking seasonal neutrals or brightening up with colours? Drop me a line and let me know!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY

Dashing off to the shops in this one, and with the weather cooling, the scarves and boots are back in force!

ootd20 Sweater: M&S
Leggings: Dunnes
Boots: UGG
Scarf: Hermes
Bag: Hermes

Still rocking the Birkin here, because once I break that baby out, I hate putting it away again! I’m also making a proper effort to wear more of my scarves this coming autumn, starting with this beauty. I love this one, although I rarely wear it: because it’s so colourful, it’s a little hard to coordinate it with everything else. Can’t beat black and white for ease of matching, though!

What colour combinations are you rocking these days? What accessories can’t you put down? What items are you trying to wear more? Drop me a line and let me know!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY

Indoor shopping with this, so I don’t need to be quite as wrapped up as usual. I seem to have lost a bit of weight in the calf area since I purchased these boots– they were tighter when I bought them first! Alas, it doesn’t seem to be showing around the hips… God bless Dundrum, though; I love not having to wear heavy clothes to ward off the cold, especially once it’s this time of year!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY

Trying that scarf-tucked-in lark again, this time in a more monochrome fashion. This time with more easily peelable layers, because I was a little overheated last time! I’m so in love with this cape. It was a super bargain that Mum spotted in the January sales for something like €10, and it looks exactly like what I’d wanted. The zippers on the sides can be undone to give you hand access when it’s cold, but I’m usually too lazy to bother, as you can see here!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY

Trying out something else from my last Dundrum Haul: these white boots. They were a super bargain, and I’ve been looking forward to wearing them. I was hoping they’d be comfortable, and they are… Well. Comfortableish. My little feet are very used to super comfy things like Uggs, so they weren’t entirely delighted about being squeezed into these, but I wore them for a whole day without needing to change into my emergency slippers! Not sure how much I like this sweater, though; I feel it makes me look a little broad in the hips. Think I might need to find something else to wear with these boots for the future!

Are you a comfy-shoe person, or do you suffer for your art? Do you have any suggestions of what else I could pair these boots with? Drop me a line and let me know!
